The City of Snyder collects a Hotel Occupancy Tax (HOT) from hotels, motels, short-term rentals, and other lodging businesses operating within the boundaries of city limits or a distance of one mile from said boundary. These funds support tourism, events, and activities that attract visitors to Snyder.
Any business providing paid lodging for less than 30 consecutive days is required to collect and remit HOT to the City. If you are unsure whether your business qualifies, contact the City Secretary’s Office.
