SNYDER, TX – The City of Snyder and Keep Snyder Beautiful are encouraging residents to reduce waste and beautify the community this spring. This initiative leads up to two major events: Trash to Treasure Flea Market & Garage Sale on April 12 and Take Back Sparkle City on April 26.
Residents can declutter, donate, and take action in multiple ways:
Trash to Treasure Flea Market & Garage Sale
Date: April 12, 2025, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Location: WTC Coliseum, 900 E Coliseum Dr, Snyder, TX 79549
Cost: Free to participate
The community-wide garage sale offers a chance for residents to sell their unwanted items or shop for great finds—all while keeping usable goods out of landfills. To make it even easier, Gateway Family Services will be on-site accepting donations of unsold home goods (excluding furniture), so vendors don’t have to haul items back home.
Take Back Sparkle City
Date: April 26, 2025, 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Location: Towle Park Armory, 3000 Towle Park Rd, Snyder, TX 79549
Residents can participate in two ways:
- Volunteer for a cleanup crew to help beautify public spaces
- Request a pickup for large junk items
Whether you want to roll up your sleeves or need help hauling off clutter, this event is all about coming together to keep Snyder clean and beautiful.

Keep Snyder Beautiful aims to raise awareness about reuse, recycling, and responsible disposal. Residents are encouraged to spread the word, participate in the events, and take small steps to reduce waste in everyday life.
