Join Us in Keeping Snyder Beautiful!

A cleaner, greener Snyder starts with community action! Keep Snyder Beautiful hosts events throughout the year, including citywide cleanups, recycling drives, and beautification projects. We are proud partners of Keep Texas Beautiful and the Don’t Mess with Texas Trash-Off, working together to make a lasting impact.

Whether you're looking to volunteer, participate in a cleanup, or request assistance, this page has everything you need to get involved.

Fall Sweep

We're excited to invite you to participate in our upcoming Keep Snyder Beautiful Fall Sweep event! We're looking for volunteers to help clean up our downtown area in preparation for the holiday season.

  • What: Downtown Snyder Litter Clean-Up
  • When: Saturday, September 27, 2025
  • Time: 7:30 AM - 10:00 PM
  • Where: Meet at Pocket Park on the Square, Downtown Snyder, TX

Take Back Sparkle City

Date: April 26, 2025, 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Location: Towle Park Armory, 3000 Towle Park Rd, Snyder, TX 79549

Take Back Sparkle City is a community-wide effort to clean up our neighborhoods, parks, and public spaces. Whether you want to volunteer, dispose of large trash items, or support in another way, we need your help!

Roll-Off Dumpsters for Large Item Disposal
Residents can also take advantage of roll-off dumpsters for disposing of large items. These will be available at the following locations:

  • 30th & Ave Q
  • Coliseum - Heritage Village
  • Scurry County Towle Park

Reminder: This service is for residential utility customers in Snyder and not to be used for businesses or individuals engaged in demolition or cleanup services. Maximum of 10 tires per household.

Have large items you can’t haul off yourself? We’ve got you covered. Fill out the form below or call (325) 573-4960 to request a pickup, and we’ll coordinate collection between April 1st and April 23rd.

Guidelines for Pickup Requests

  • Registration required: Complete the form above to request a pickup and list all items you will place for collection. Only listed items will be picked up. 
  • Placement rules: Items may be placed outside up to 3 days before April 26, 2025 and must be set at the curb or in the alley. Cleanup crews cannot enter private property or structures to retrieve items.
  • Restrictions: This service is not for businesses or individuals engaged in demolition or cleanup services.
  • Tire Limit: A maximum of 10 tires per household may be placed for pickup.
