The Snyder Fire Department offers programs focused on fire prevention, education, and community safety. These programs help residents, businesses, and organizations understand fire risks, reduce hazards, and know what to do in an emergency.

Fire Extinguisher Training
This hands-on training teaches participants how to properly and safely use a fire extinguisher. The goal is to help you respond quickly and confidently during a small fire while prioritizing personal safety.
Fire Safety Week
Each October, the Snyder Fire Department participates in Fire Prevention Week by visiting local schools and community locations. These visits focus on:

- Promoting smoke alarm awareness and emergency preparedness

Home Fire Safety
