Snyder Volunteer Fire Department 

The Snyder Volunteer Fire Department (SVFD) was organized in 1911. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to serving and protecting our community.

SVFD personnel are directly affiliated with the City of Snyder Fire Department, and both departments work together to form the Snyder Fire Department. Together, we respond to emergencies, ensure public safety, and promote fire prevention education.

Are you interested in becoming a volunteer firefighter? Potential members are welcome to attend training sessions to learn more about the department and meet the team. Training and meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month.
