Our City Manager, Eli Torres, brings a wealth of experience and a dedicated commitment to enhancing the quality of life in Snyder. Responsibilities
The Administration Department ensures that the City Council’s policies are carried out fairly, effectively, and efficiently. Led by the City Manager, who serves as the City’s chief administrative officer, the department oversees the daily operations of all City functions. As outlined by the City Charter, the City Manager is tasked with coordinating the City's government activities and maintaining the efficient operation of municipal services.
The Administration Department manages several key areas essential to Snyder’s operations, including:
- Citizen Assistance: Serving as a primary point of contact for community inquiries and support.
- Intergovernmental Relations: Collaborating with other governmental entities to benefit the Snyder community.
- Legislative Advocacy: Representing Snyder’s interests at the legislative level to ensure favorable policies.
- Grants Management: Identifying, applying for, and managing grants that support City projects.
- Special Projects: Overseeing initiatives that enhance community services and development.
