SNYDER, TX – The City of Snyder is honored to announce its selection as a finalist for the prestigious 2025 All-America City Award. This recognition, presented by the National Civic League, highlights communities that demonstrate exceptional civic engagement, inclusiveness, and innovation in addressing local challenges.
This year’s award theme, “Strengthening Environmental Sustainability through Inclusive Community Engagement,” aligns with Snyder’s ongoing efforts to promote sustainability and civic involvement. The city was previously honored as an All-America City in 1968, and this year’s finalist designation highlights its continued commitment to collaboration and community-driven progress.
"We are thrilled to be recognized as a finalist for the All-America City Award once again," said Eli Torres, City Manager of Snyder. "This achievement reflects the dedication of our residents, businesses, and local organizations in working together to create a sustainable and resilient future for Snyder."
Snyder will present its initiatives at the All-America City Award event in Denver, Colorado, from June 27-29, where the 10 winning communities will be announced. Finalists were selected based on a competitive review process that evaluated shared vision, civic engagement, inclusiveness and equity, collaboration, innovation, and impact.
