On Sunday January 24th, 2016 at 8:55am Officers from the Snyder Police Department were dispatched to the 2000 block of Avenue Z in reference to a suspicious vehicle parked on the side of the roadway by the mail boxes. Officers responded to the location and located a vehicle parked with the engine running. At about 9:13am on this date a female and a male came into the Law Enforcement Center and the female reported that at about 4:00am 2 people had broke into their house located in the 2100 Block of Avenue Z and an assault had taken place at that location and two male subjects had been killed. Officers were dispatched to the 2100 Block of Avenue Z where the bodies of two deceased male subjects were located. The two deceased white male subjects did not have any identification on them for a positive identification, but through the course of the investigation leads were developed on the possible identities of the two adult males. Their names are being withheld pending positive identification and notification of their families. Their bodies have been transported to Lubbock, TX for autopsy. A female subject who is identified as, 28 years old, Nicole Dabney of Snyder and a male identified as, 24 year old, Juan Barron of Phoenix, AZ. were taken into custody and charged with Tampering With Evidence in connection with this investigation. The case remains under investigation.
