On Tuesday May 10th , 2014 at approximately 4:53pm Scurry County Sheriff Dispatch received a call in the 1000 Block of 25th Street Snyder, Texas in reference to a subject that had been shot. Officers were dispatched to the scene where a Hispanic male with a gunshot wound was discovered. This male subject was identified as 33 year old, Robert Silva of Colorado City, Texas. Scurry County EMS transported Silva to Cogdell Hospital ER where he was pronounced dead. At approximately 4:56pm Snyder Police Investigator Mike Counts stopped a vehicle traveling north bound in the 200 Block of N Old Lubbock Highway for a traffic violation. During the stop it was discovered that the 28 year old male driver and the 24 year old passenger had been in a altercation in the 1000 25th Street . Through further investigation the female passenger was identified as the person involved in the shooting that had taken place in the 1000 block of 25th Street. The female identified as, 24 year old, Nicole Mann of Snyder, Texas.

Mann was arrested and booked into the Scurry County Jail for the murder of Robert Silva.
