The City Council of the City of Snyder, Texas, will hold a public hearing in the City Council Chambers, Snyder City Hall at 1925 24th Street, Snyder, Texas on November 7, 2011 at 5:30 p.m., for the purpose of considering councilmember district populations and boundaries based upon the 2010 Census, and the consideration of proposed plans for revised councilmember district boundaries. The City Council will receive public comments on the proposed councilmember district boundaries and redistricting plans.
The City Council will accept proposed redistricting plans from the public. To be considered, public plans must .be drafted in accordance with the redistricting guidelines approved by resolution by the City Council. The public plan submission deadline is November 3, 2011 at 5:00 p.m.
