[ARCHIVED] First Annual Save Second Base Musicfest

The Belle Opry House and We Care of Scurry County proudly present the first annual Save Second Base Musicfest. This event will be held from noon-10:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16, in the back parking lot of The Belle.
Red dirt, Texas Country artists will be performing all day along with some great local talent. The cost for this event is $20. Guests are urged to bring their own lawn chairs and BYOB. Local women will be screened for breast cancer with all the proceeds from this benefit. For every 2 ½ people that attend, one woman will receive a mammogram at Cogdell Memorial Hospital.
Circle S Cooking Team will have a concessions booth available, and We Care will be selling water and pink-ribbon related items. There will also be a silent auction. We Care is a local group of people who have come together with the mission of making life a little easier for those who are affected by cancer and their families.
The lineup for the events includes, The James Lann Band, Kevin Seale Band, and the Zach Harmon Band. Acoustic shows will be presented by Brian Milson, Phillip Thomas, William Clark Green and Kelly Kenning. Local performers will round out the show. Eric DeLeon will be performing stand-up comedy, and Samfromamsterdam (a WTC student), Trey Edwards, Sydney Wright and Caleb Calloway will be doing acoustic sets.
