SNYDER, TX – The Office of Emergency Management is currently responding to an ammonia-related incident at the City of Snyder Water Treatment Plant. As a precaution, Avenue M has been temporarily closed to traffic. Please use alternate routes until further notice.
At this time, there is no threat to the city’s water supply, and no evacuations are necessary. Emergency personnel are on scene and working to resolve the situation safely and efficiently.
