Lane closure to affect parking around the Snyder Courthouse square
ABILENE – On Friday, March 28, the Texas Department of Transportation’s contractor, R. K. Hall, will begin setting barricades and placing traffic signs for a construction project beginning in April on US 180 within the city limits of the City of Snyder.
This project includes a hot mix overlay of US 180 from the intersection of US 180 and SH 350 at the Snyder Courthouse east to US 84. The traveling public should expect a lane closure on US 180 that will affect parking around the square. Travelers should seek alternate parking for the duration of the project. Construction will begin the first week of April and is scheduled to take approximately four weeks, weather permitting.
