Snyder Receives Our Texas, Our Future Grant from Keep Texas Beautiful

KTB awards 12 affiliate communities with a Community Improvement Grant from H-E-B


SNYDER, TX – Keep Texas Beautiful (KTB) has recognized Keep Snyder Beautiful as a recipient of a 2024 Our Texas, Our Future Grant. Through funding from H-E-B, Keep Texas Beautiful is providing 12 affiliate communities grants to support educational and programmatic opportunities relating to sustainability, recycling, litter prevention, beautification, water conservation, and native species and habitat conservation.

To assist with implementing their project, Snyder has received $5,000 to begin and support their proposed community project. Keep Snyder Beautiful will complete their project by July 2025.  

Keep Snyder Beautiful plans to to support the expansion of community recycling access in Snyder through the installation of student-decorated recycling containers at local businesses.

“We are thrilled to be awarded this grant from Keep Texas Beautiful and H-E-B. This funding will help us make a meaningful impact on our community by expanding recycling access and fostering environmental responsibility.” said Eli Torres, City Manager.

In addition to Snyder, the affiliate communities of Angelina County, Cedar Hill, Duncanville, Fulshear, Grand Prairie, League City, Pflugerville, San Antonio, South Padre Island, Temple, and Waco also received a 2024 Our Texas, Our Future Grant.
