[ARCHIVED] Another community has requested the services of Steve Vassallo and GCES.

Another community has requested the services of Steve Vassallo and GCES. Steve has accepted a new 2 year assignment for Archuleta County, CO. This in turn ended two great assignments in Central, LA and Madison, MS. "You always want to leave your clients better than before and I can accurately state this as because of our recent successes, Madison now has a satellite campus of Tulane University and Central is literally "on fire" in all aspects of its Economic Development program", stated Vassallo. The new alignment of clients will allow Steve to focus more on Snyder, Texas in addition to the new Colorado client. "I am very excited about these clients as the potential for both is enormous. Archuleta County has a significant tourism appeal as Snyder has a diversified economic base which has the ability to attract many type industries. As a result of the transition, the Vassallos will relocate to Pagosa Springs, however the Oxford, MS based office will continue. "My wife, Rosie who is a native Texan and TCU graduate will return to her major occupational love in life....art. Rosie will be preparing for a May art show in Snyder which will focus on Texas art and scenes from Mississippi. It will be great to leave the Mississippi humidity for a short time and experience life at a new altitude. Rosie has been directing the Madison, MS Chamber of Commerce the previous 14 years. What I like most about consulting is the ability to live in different places. This also enables me the option to drive to Snyder opposed to being limited exclusively by the airlines." Vassallo has consulted for Madison since 2005 and Central for the previous 16 months.
