The City Secretary’s office will be closing due to inclement weather at 12:00 PM on Thursday, February, 11, 2021. The filing deadline for a completed and notarized candidate application for a place on the May 2021 City Election Ballot is 5:00 PM on Friday, February 12, 2021. Under no circumstances can an application be accepted legally past 5:00 PM on Friday, February 12, 2021. The date and time is set by the Texas Secretary of State’s Office. A completed application can take up to 15 minutes to process and complete. Please plan your time accordingly. The Snyder City Secretary’s office will be open tomorrow, Friday, February 12, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM for any person wanting to file for the May Election.
