City Wide Clean-up Campaign

Anyone signing up for the city dump trucks will need to call:

Participation by all citizens and businesses within the city limits:
Residential:
Clean up on property
Mow
Pick up trash
Clean alley at back of their property
Remove weeds
Remove old appliances
Businesses:
Clean up on property
Mow
Pick up trash
Remove weeds from parking areas, around utility
poles and in landscaped areas.

Dump trucks and drivers will be available from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. on April 22nd, 23rd, 24th and 25th to pick up tree limbs, lumber and appliances; items that can be lifted manually and placed over the sides of a dump truck. We accept passenger tires only! NO BATTERIES PLEASE!
The dump truck will be available in these areas of town on these dates and limited to 1 (one) load per residence or business:
April 22nd - West of College and South of 30th Street
April 23rd - East of College and South of 30th Street
April 24th - West of College and North of 30th Street
April 25th - East of College and North of 30th Street
Please indicate the type of items you are wanting picked up and schedule it for the day the dump truck will be in your area. Have the items placed next to the curb, driveway or alley leaving access for through traffic. Small items must be placed in bags and stacked near the curb, driveway or alley. City personnel will not be allowed to go onto the property and into any structures to retrieve objects. Please keep brush in a separate pile from other items. Please keep appliances and metals in a pile separate from other items. Any appliance that uses freon/coolant, must have the coolant removed and tagged by a licensed recoverer. Please be available to assist in loading the items. If you can’t be available, indicate so when scheduling the dump truck. Tree limbs, lumber, etc. will need to be cut into pieces that can be easily handled by one person.
Please schedule pick-up before placing items at curb or in the alley. If the schedule is full when you call, you may take your current utility bill, with the items you were wanting picked up, and get into the landfill at no charge during the four-day clean-up campaign. Please tarp or tie down each load.
THESE SERVICES ARE FOR INDIVIDUALS, NOT TO BE USED BY PERSONS IN THE BUSINESS OF DEMOLITION OR CLEAN-UP AND WILL BE LIMITED TO 1 (ONE) LOAD PER RESIDENCE OR BUSINESS INSIDE THE CITY LIMITS ONLY.
