To this date, Snyder Police Officers have made 41 arrests for the offense of Driving While Intoxicated. Snyder Police will be out in full force with an emphasis on locating and arresting intoxicated drivers. In Texas, the legal BAC for an adult is .08 but you can still be stopped and arrested for Driving While Intoxicated regardless of your BAC level. Texas DWI laws are strict and the first offense can carry penalties of up to a $2,000 maximum fine, up to six months in jail, a suspended driver's license for up to one year, and a $1,000 surcharge a year for up to three years.
